Terms and Conditions of The Eyre Peninsula Field Days

1. All entry fees must accompany entry form.

2. Entry fees as set out herein. In the case of static exhibits, agents or dealers taking a stand, all exhibitors on the said stand, nominated and entered, must be paid for by the exhibitor concerned.

3. Public Liability Insurance for Exhibitors Sites is included in the compulsory $40 administration fee. (Up to fifty million dollars cover with AON Risk Services Australia.)

4. The use of amplifiers and loud speakers is strictly prohibited.

5. The Committee reserves the right to regulate the use of machinery on static display sites which produces excessive noise causing annoyance to other exhibitors and the public.

6. The Committee of the Field Day shall have the power to enter on the area described at any time and remove any articles, sign, picture or printed matter, which in their opinion may be a cause of offence to the public or officials of the Committee. No exhibitor shall be permitted to publicly infringe the rights of the Field Days official caterers.

7. Except with the written consent previously obtained from the committee, the exhibitor shall not assign or sublet or part with the possession of the whole or any part of the space or purport so to do.

8. Exhibitors are responsible for the condition of the area covered by this Contract, during the currency of the Eyre Peninsula Field Days 2008 and upon completion of such Field Days; exhibitors shall clean such area to the satisfaction of the Committee.

9. Exhibitors hereby accept all responsibility for, and shall hold the Committee indemnified against any damage or injury to any person/s or property which may be occasioned by, or arise out of the use of any machine, implement, or apparatus of any nature whatsoever used in connection with the stands and/or demonstration, and exhibitors hereby undertake to faithfully conform with the requirements of any Act of Parliament which may govern the erection of structures, displays and/or demonstration and/or sales of machinery and other products, and also to conform with any regulations by-laws or rules made under such Acts of Parliament or by any Government, semi-Govt, or Local Govt Authority duly authorised to make regulations, by-laws or rules in connection herewith.

10. The committee shall not be liable for any loss of or damage to the exhibitor’s property whilst on site. Overnight security arrangements will be made by the committee from 6pm Monday to 7am Friday.

11. If the Committee should find it necessary to cancel or postpone the 2008 Eyre Peninsula Field Days, contracts shall cease to operate upon notice to that effect, and the Committee shall not be liable for any compensation or refund to exhibitors.

12. This application properly signed and payment by the exhibitor shall be in the hands of the Secretary by 1st June 2008 or a $80 late fee applies. Those received after that date, are only accepted at the discretion of the committee.

13. New equipment only, may be displayed for sale. Used equipment of the current model may be brought on the ground only for use in demonstrations.

14. Flag poles over three metres in height are not permitted to be erected within 2 metres of any point directly below overhead power lines.

15. The Exhibitor shall not conduct or suffer to be conducted on the space any competition or game without authority of the Committee.

16. The Committee reserves the right to cancel this contract and to retain any money paid in relation thereto if there is in the opinion of the Committee any infringement of any of the foregoing conditions and/or if the Exhibitor does not occupy the space at the commencement of and during the full period of the said Field Days.

17. Any exhibitor cancelling less than 21 working days prior to the event will not receive a refund unless the site can be suitably re-allocated. Cancellation must be received in writing.

18. The Committee and/or the Landholder on whose property the said Field Days are being held reserve the right to amend operating conditions as specified at any time.

19. Livestock permitted on the area only by arrangement with the Committee.

20. The Committee reserves the right to re-allocate any sites which are not occupied by 6.00pm on Monday, August 11th 2008.

21. EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE - Exhibitors WILL NOT be permitted to stay overnight on site over the Field Days period.

22. Speed limit within the confines of the said area not to exceed 5 km/h

23. Sale of alcoholic drinks within the confines of said area is prohibited without prior committee approval.

24. The Committee reserves the right to switch off electricity.

25. Exhibitors are responsible for all damages to accommodation venues

26. The Committee reserves the right to restrict Exhibitor nos. & site sizes.

27. The committee reserves the right to accept or reject any application.

28. In the interest of Public Safety, NO VEHICLES will be permitted to enter or exit the display area prior to 4.30 pm on Thursday14th August.

29. The Eyre Peninsula Field Days is committed to safeguarding your privacy by ensuring your personal information is protected in a way that observes our own corporate values, as well as complying with the requirements of the National Privacy Principles of the Privacy Act.

30. NO DOGS ALLOWED. Due to Public Health and Safety issues, no dogs will be allowed on the Field Day Site, with, of course, the exception of Guide Dogs.
